BORNEO : THE JAPANESE P.O.W. CAMPSA Postal History by Neville Watterson FRPSL This book is the second part of the original work and not a revised and enlarged edition. It is the result of continued research and the enthusiastic response from readers of the original work, and from many additional contacts which were the result of their correspondence. New information was received from many quarters, with a large part coming from Australia. A great deal has been added to the circumstances of the Australian P.O.W., in addition to those at the Camps in Singapore and, of course, at Kuching and Sandakan. Much new and ancillary information has been included which reaches rather far from Borneo in some cases, but all of which add to the understanding and the postal history of the P.O.W. mail. The book is in the same format and has been written with the same chapters and chapter headings as the original work. One extra chapter has been added, Mail to the Australian P.O.W. The book is copiously illustrated and the pagination is a continuation of that in the original, with the object of incorporating an index for both volumes. Hence the two are complementary. To assist those readers who already possess the original and who now require the Part 2, a superior slip case in library cloth with a blocked spine, designed to accommodate the two parts, is available. A limited number of both parts, complete in a slip case, also is alsoavailable. The book is quarto size, (8 ins x 10 ins, or 20.3 cms x 25.4 cms) with card covers, xiv + 151 pages, 70 full page illustrations. ISBN 0 9514951 2 7. Price: £16.00 + £2.20 p&P (Special offer: 5 copies for £60) Obtainable from: W. N. Watterson
