other interests:	Interested in relating the routes and the communication processes involved in the mails over the last four hundred years to the social development of Perth and Perthshire, in partcular to the my practice area of Srathearn. This interest involves the roads and turnpikes, the waterways and the railways(in particular the Caledonian and the Scottish Central railway.) My collection extends from 1650 to 1960. As a side interest I have a professional and collecting interest in the Gleneagles hotel. Currently I am co-editor of "The Scottish Post ". Scottish mail to foreign destinations pre 1900.
