Thanks to the Stuart Rossiter Trust Fund, in 1998 I published the definitive
reference on postal history in my home county (Kildare) for the period prior
to about 1860.
In addition to having the largest private collection of early Co Kildare
PH material, I also have an extensive collection of Irish coloured 1844
killers and early skeleton postmarks.
Much of my collection is based on material previously owned by Fred Dixon
and his peers. I own three Curragh Camp scroll strikes including the only
know example on an entire.
I would love to find other collectors interested in these areas as I have
been collecting for over 20 years but have never found a kindred spirit.
