other interests:	I collect and actively do research on all aspects of AR (avis de reception---there is an accent on the first e, but it doesn't come out here---etc), all periods; this includes the early forms, the later AR cards, the covering envelopes for returning the forms, inquiry forms for missing registered items, and of course the covers, and the AR stamps issued by a few countries. My book, AR---avis de reception (Postal History Society of Canada, 2002) is still in print. I also collect Canadian stampless covers (rates and markings), with some emphasis on the Maritimes, as well as all aspects of Canadian registration (to, from, through). I am also looking (largely unsuccessfully) for parcel cards to or from Canada. I am the editor of BNA Topics, the (quarterly) research journal of the British North America Philatelic Society, and am always looking for interesting articles on the postal history or stamps of Canada and the provinces.
